This candle smells amazing! As does all of the candles I have purchased from The Smell of Fear!
In a world of Earthy scents this time of year, it's nice to find something for us fruit-centered folk. Perfect for election season. Thanks, Jillian <3
I love the scent, and that it's not overwoverwhelming. I also like that it is small and discrete in my car.
This was a Birthday gift for my brother & it actually arrived the day of. He loves the smell!
I bought this candle for my partner, who is a huge fan of The Thing, and he absolutely loved it so much that I just had to get him another one as soon as they became available again!
The scent is very pleasant. Not at all overpowering in the confined space of my car. I will definitely be buying more of these to hang around the house and put in my partner's car. Also would make a great gift!
I ordered the 'How to Sell a Haunted House' candle to go with the book of the same name (by one of my favorite authors) and loved it. Will definitely be ordering more scents in the future! Hoping to see more collaborations with authors too!
I purchased from this site back when they started selling on Etsy. The quality was great then and it’s even better now. Thank you for creating amazing spooky scents!
A scent from my favorite sci-fi horror movie (The Thing - 1982), you already got me. The scotch and snow scent theme from the movie kind of smell like strawberry yogurt, which thinking how much blood and gore was in the movie seems extremely fitting. I would highly recommend this sci-fi horror candle for a perfect day/evening when “nobody trust anybody now, and we’re all very tired”
This is a fun candle, and always conversation starter. This themed candle has a strong blend of sea salt and additional refreshing scent that I cannot pinpoint for the “atomic bombs” scent. My best guess is it’s a refreshing Ozone scent which makes the candle smell great and adds a fun sci-fi theme to this candle 🦖
Lighting 'The Banshee' candle is like inviting the essence of Ireland or even early springtime into my home. The blend of “verdant green and melancholy”smells looks several fresh cut roses, but evokes memories of misty Irish landscapes and ancient folklore, creating an enchanting ambiance that feels both haunting and deeply nostalgic.
